[About]
[About me]
Hey! I'm Ali Tajer, a product designer based in Manchester. Iโve spent the last 4+ years working across EdTech, marketplaces and PropTech, taking products from early research through to something people can actually use.
I trained as an architect, which still shapes how I think about products. I look for structure, understand how the pieces connect, then simplify. Over time, Iโve also moved beyond designing screens and started building what I design.
Right now, Iโm designing and building internal software and AI automations for Majella Properties, including an AI agent for property maintenance.
Outside work, I help run Natter Manchester and have coached around 70 designers. Iโm also a Certified Product Designer on Uxcel, ranked #1 in the UK and #5 globally.
Iโm at my best when the problem is still messy and the answer isnโt obvious yet.
[What Can I Do]
Start with the real problem
I run the research, map the workflow, and test assumptions before anything gets designed. That way the team builds what actually matters, not just the first idea on the table.
An AI native way of building
I turn designs into working software with Claude, Cursor and Bolt.new, so people test the real product instead of slides.
Design the system, not just screens
I design clear flows and reusable component systems that stay consistent as a product grows and let a small team move fast. Structural thinking from my architecture background, applied to digital products.

[Toolbox]
How work moves through my stack
I love finding new tools and pushing them until they break or earn a spot. This lineup is what survived real projects.
Claude Cowork covers everything between design and build. Notes turn into plans, plans into working features, and nothing gets lost in the copy-paste between apps.
Half of this stack didnโt exist two years ago. Thatโs the part I enjoy most.
01
Research
Market context and desk research before anything gets drawn.
02
User research
Interviews, session notes, synthesis.

03
Design
Flows, design systems, prototypes. Claude sits in the loop from the first sketch.
04
Build
Design intent becomes a working product. No handoff gap.
05
Automate
The repetitive work runs itself.

06
Measure
What happened after launch feeds the next round.
